A Mindful evening

An evening of mindfulness in which only a few of us fell asleep

We "worked hard" to achieve our mindfulness badge, starting with running about like a set of little maniacs to see how fast our hearts would beat so we could see how much it slows down when we relax.

After our Powwow where we say what we want to do for the rest of the school year we expressed our gratitude for the things we love in life, then lay down to listen to some meditative music.

We listened to our favourite and relaxed our bodies with a few even falling asleep.

At the end of the evening we didn't want to go home but our leaders said we were not allowed to spend the night in the school.
