Beaudesert February 2023

We challenged the Brownies to a weekend of adventure at Beaudesert on Cannock Chase.

We stayed in their Alpine Lodge, in the centre of everything, where the Brownies shared dormitories of up to six. We stayed fully catered, which meant we ate in the Cafeteria, where they couldn't have been more accommodating to us!

The weekend was full on, including climbing trees, shooting arrows, stacking crates while standing on them, zip wire across a disused quarry, caving, fencing and of course the campfire and exploring the site in the dark!

They did not disappoint - every challenge set was tackled with enthusiasm and the girls surprised themselves with their own daring!

Afterwards, their adults got to hear all about their adventures until they fell asleep, exhausted
