Easter fun at the end of term 2024

To celebrate the end of the Easter term, we had lots of egg based fun!

We couldn't let the end of the spring term pass without Easter eggs and as always, we couldn't just look for them and eat them!

The Brownies proved that girls can do anything by drilling the holes in their owns eggs to make their eggy people to take home.

We took advantage of the spring air to have egg and spoon races in the playground, with hardly any eggs being stuck to the spoons by Brown Owl.

Indoors we made 'golf clubs' with large sheets of paper and used them to hit the eggs into cups to try to get a hole in one. Using eggs instead of golf balls proved trickier than it looked as they wouldn't go in a straight line! Our Brownies wouldn't be beaten! Once we finished playing, the string holding the paper in tubes was removed so the paper could be used again for drawing.

Naturally chocolate eggs were eaten on the way home - happy Easter all.
