Steam and (not) Dream

We joined Rainbows, Guides and Brownies from all over Staffordshire for an adventurous day ate Statfold Country Park

Girlguiding Staffordshire organised for us to take over Statfold Country Park for our Steam and Dream event.

The complete event included a sleepover in the grounds, but 15th Stafford Brownies chose to make is a day event as we already had two exciting holidays this year! This meant our brownies were fresh enough to tackle everything at 100 miles an hour!

There was so much that we could do that our leaders gave the brownies the choice of what to do and in which order, only guiding our decision if there was a wait for something we wanted, and something else we also wanted didn't have a queue!

We had a trip on a steam train on which we had a carriage all to ourself; it started at the back of the train and part way through, the engine was decoupled and we were suddenly at the front!

We beat the escape room, had great fun with so many bubbles that Brown Owl said we just needed water at bath time and we would have an instant bubble bath! We had a go on the climbing walls, the soft play and the bouncy castle

We showed off our roller skating skills at the disco and worked as a great team in the marble run challenge. The day finished with a massive campfire and a play on the play equipment while our parents arrived so we could fall asleep on our journeys home to dream of the fun we had through the day.
