Thinking Day 2024
We made Thinking Day a true celebration
Thinking day is the birthday of our founders, Robert and Olave Baden-Powell and is celebrated the world over by Girl Guides and Girl Scouts as Thinking Day. It is normally a day of reflection, where we think of our Guiding sisters and the difference we can and do make to the world.
This year we were luck enough for the day to fall on our normal meeting night so we made it a true celebration, making it into a silent disco. We even had a great buffet curtesy of the SPAR on West Way, for which we are very grateful.
Photos can never do justice to the fun of a silent disco, so we have included a few short videos, taken as groups of brownies tune into the same song to sing and dance together!
